WICHITA — A 25-year-old man died this afternoon after his motorcycle crashed into a pickup truck in the Delano neighborhood, authorities said ... Take notice: Something went right on the economic front in Wichita on Friday ... United Way of the Plains raised just more than $15 million in its annual campaign this year, meeting its goal despite the loss of more jobs in the area ... "My guess is the per capita giving is way up, even though the number of working is down," campaign chairman Paul Allen said Friday at Century II's Convention Hall after the total was announced at a luncheon.
