Grand jury reviewing Kansas ticket scandal

A federal grand jury has convened to review evidence in the Kansas ticket scandal, sources say.

A source with direct knowledge of the investigation confirmed on Tuesday that at least one grand jury subpoena had gone out, directing a witness, whom the source would not identify, to appear last week in Topeka.

The grand jury probe is the latest development in a burgeoning investigation that has forced top athletic administrators to deal with outraged KU donors even as the future of the Big 12 grows increasingly uncertain.
